This year is Splatterkore’s 10 year birthday and the LAST release!!! It’s now or never to get involved! (Secret: we’re co-launching a newer, darker label with this release 😎)

We are compiling a free, downloadable release of wild, hybrid electronic styles.

The theme: Imaginary creatures.

From creatures of legend, myth and lore to cyborgs to extraterrestrials.. or just whatever you conjure up!

Specifications

• Collaboration tracks with other artists are encouraged.
• 
  
• Export your finished tracks at 16bit, -6db in wav format.
• 
  
• We have a mastering engineer and he can work well if you leave a lot of headroom. Leave no master comp or buss comp on the track. Feel free to sort your own mastering also and he will only touch it lightly.
• 
  
• Maximum length is 11 mins 11 seconds.
• 
  
• The track must fit the theme and be made with the theme in consideration. Please only submit older tracks if you think it is perfect for this theme.
• 
  
• There are no restrictions on style push yourself into the unknown... go faster, slower, darker, heavier, crazier than usual.

YO!! I want to take this moment to thank you all for the ongoing support. As you read this, you are levelling up in motivation and inspiration to create and connect more (get involved in Sonic Alchemy, it's really open to everyone) :) It's been great receiving your e-mails and music. I had a huge whiplash-inducing turn of fate/intense Rite of Passage in 2015 which has kept me offline for most of the year and coming back to Splatterkore is like being back with family. For those who didn't get replies and felt the murky suspiscion I didn't give a shit, thank you for understanding that it wasn't that and that I care more than you think. I hope you found some other outlets for your work in the meantime. Anyway, fuck that year, I'm back. Keep it coming, show us what you're fucking made of!!!!! :)

ANNWN - SONDATION

As an antidote for the cold days, Anti-Narcose and Entity teamed up for this special co-release.

Annwn – Dutch-born, Bangkok-based sounddesigner who also manages the Anti-Narcose semi-netlabel – intrudes your senses in the most beautiful of incoherent ways.

If you can stomach the radioactive remains of forgotten experimental sci-fi speedcore adventures, and maybe, just maybe if you have a good ear for abstract sounds and ingenious polymorphic structures, you are sure to appreciate the 5 tracks that we have prepared for you.

RE_LAUNCHING!

Splatterkore would like to apologise for the lack of releases over the past few months. It has DEFINITELY been too quiet, huh! That is so not like us ;) I explain that a bit further down for those interested but I would like to give a massive thank you to everyone who has stuck with SK and encouraged me to keep the project going.

We had a bit of mayhem at FUPA 2011 (no truck this year but a great party at Tacheles, Berlin with some of Splatterkore's faves), celebrated our 3rd birthday and a few other great little parties but no internet or time to show you all. Our main issue was with the core management; one member has set Splatterkore aside to pursue his new music organisation, Unrepresented Recordings (check it out!) and I emigrated to Berlin back in April and everything has been manic as expected; curiously probing this that and the other whilst still compiling releases without an internet connection, ha!

...BUT things have changed! We have a very exciting string of releases for you in 2012 and if you wanna show us some of your stuff, send us a zip file with your demo to booking @ splatterkore. co . uk

Featuring up and coming experimental psykore artists, Aural Environmentalist, Infect Insect & Omnipresence, and introducing some fresh new projects, Culture Crashers is certainly one for the open minded!

TAA RAVE TOUR

Some of us are involved in what will be the first Temporary
Autonomous Art (TAA) Rave Tour. This involves 50 free party artists
from 5 cities, networking to co-ordinate many events, as a means to

This guy works with nasty overdriven amen breaks and brutal kickdrum samples, to create a blend of industrial breakcore and machinecore gabba. He is also a genius when it comes to editing samples, to say ridiculous and outrageous remarks about the system and interbreeding. Starts with a scratch, ends with a bang!

An orchestra of punk distortion from Newport/London/Eastbourne. Using their very own Circuit Bend electronics and a distorted microphone, these guys will blast your brain into chaos to the extent where you will begin to ponder its legallity!
